Red Sun Yoga periodically offers a number of programs for children of all ages. Yoga is a great way for toddlers and children to become familiar with the practice of yoga.

It improves health, concentration, physical fitness,
emotional balance, self-esteem, relieves stress and
encourages cooperation.


  • Mom & Baby Yoga - Bond with baby in this gentle ongoing class that helps to gain strength, tone stomach muscles and relieves back and shoulder pain. Learn unique yoga poses for baby. Wind down with a soothing relaxation. Class is for moms with babies that are not crawling yet. Moms are asked to wait 4-6 weeks after delivery before practicing. No yoga experience necessary.

  • Yoga for Tots - This class encourages children, who are crawling to age 2, to use movement to express their creativity, while developing coordination and promoting self-esteem. Using storybook themes, music, dance, puppets, bubbles, scarves, games and props, children learn to tell a story with their bodies. Toddlers will bond with their parent in a fun and creative way.

  • Yoga for Tykes - Ages 3-4 and a Parent/Caretaker
    This is a playful way to introduce the benefits of yoga to your child at an early age. Classes offer a fascinating flow of poses, songs, stories, and games to help deepen the bond between you and your child. Your child will learn yoga through repetition, play, and bonding in a non-competitive environment that encourages friendship and freedom of expression. No experience necessary!

  • Yoga for Kids - Ages 5-6-7
    This class focuses on games, imagination, stories and simple practices to introduce the healthy benefits of yoga.

  • Yoga for Kids - Ages 8-9-10
    This class is geared for older children and covers the general concepts of yoga which are taught with more active engagement of poses and less demonstration.

  • Yoga for Tweens - Ages 11-12-13
    This class encourages young people to use the practice of yoga on and off the mat - postures, breathing techniques and deep relaxation which are done in class will also benefit them in their day to day lives, during these informative years.
